Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 12, 2026.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how BeatBidding collects, uses, stores, and shares information when people visit the platform, create accounts, submit seller applications, place bids, complete purchases, or contact support.

This policy applies to marketplace browsing, account access, seller onboarding, bidding, checkout, delivery, and support interactions across BeatBidding.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, username, password hash, billing country, and account role; transaction information such as bids, purchases, payout history, invoices, refunds, and disputes; seller verification information such as legal name, business details, tax information, and payout details; content and asset information such as listing descriptions, uploaded files, artwork, and rights declarations; and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies, and usage analytics.

We may also collect support messages, moderation reports, anti-fraud signals, and communications necessary to resolve disputes or enforce platform rules.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate the marketplace, process payments, deliver purchased assets, verify seller identity and ownership claims, detect fraud, enforce bidding rules, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and improve platform reliability and performance.

We may use technical and behavioral data to protect the platform against abuse, spam, account takeover, suspicious bidding activity, payment fraud, copyright abuse, and other misuse.

4. Payment processing

Payments are expected to be processed by a third-party processor such as Stripe. BeatBidding does not need to store full payment card numbers on its own servers if a hosted or tokenized payment flow is used.

Payment processors may collect and process payment information under their own privacy policies and compliance obligations. Users should review the processor’s policy in addition to this one.

5. Legal bases and compliance

Depending on the jurisdiction, we may process personal information because it is necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests, prevent fraud, or because a user has provided consent for a specific feature such as marketing communications.

Where the platform serves users in regulated jurisdictions such as the UK or EU, BeatBidding may apply additional disclosures, handling standards, and user-rights workflows required by those rules.

6. Sharing information

We may share information with service providers that help run the platform, including hosting providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, anti-fraud vendors, email delivery tools, and payment processors.

We may also share information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of the business or users, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that phrase unless and until the final public policy expressly states otherwise.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, and analytics tools to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how the product is used.

Where non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are used in regulated regions, BeatBidding may provide the consent choices and disclosures required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with accounting and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security records.

Transaction, payout, tax, and anti-fraud records may need to be retained longer than basic marketing or support records.

9. User rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, and may have rights to object to or restrict certain types of processing.

Requests can be handled through a dedicated privacy contact email once the company email addresses are set up.

10. Security

BeatBidding uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. No system is perfectly secure, and the service does not guarantee absolute security.

Security controls may include secure hosting, HTTPS, least-privilege access, environment secret management, logging, backups, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the business.

11. Children

The platform is intended for users who are legally able to enter binding contracts in their jurisdiction. It is not directed to young children, and users should not submit information if they are below the applicable minimum age.

12. International transfers

If data is processed outside the country where a user resides, BeatBidding may rely on contractual and operational safeguards appropriate to the jurisdictions involved.

13. Policy updates

This policy may be updated as the product, corporate structure, payment setup, and regulatory footprint evolve. Material changes should be posted on the site with an updated effective date.
